An RPG title by Locojoy studio. We play as a castaway who lands on a small island infested with zombies, with a small town in its center. Our objective is to survive in the harsh conditions and find a way to escape, meaning that survival aspect plays a main role in the game. We are threatened not only by undead, but also more mundane nuisances, like hunger and diseases. Gameplay focuses on looking for food, medicines, and useful items.
Buried Town is an iOS survival RPG, in which the player's task is to survive on an island captured by zombies. The production was developed by Locojoy studio and the project belongs to the premium category, so there is no micropayment.
Story
The action, released on iOS Buried Town, starts when the player's hero arrives in a decaying boat to the shore of a small island. Frozen and soaked, he goes to a city visible from the beach, but discovers on the spot that it has been captured by living corpses. Worse still, there is no trace of any other survivors anywhere, and the island has lost all forms of contact with the outside world. Our task is, of course, to survive and find a way to escape from this cursed place.
Mechanics
The action is observed from a bird's eye view and the game focuses on survival aspects. Zombies are the most obvious, but not the only threat. Hunger or disease can equally effectively lead to the death of a character, so the search for food, useful objects and medicines, as well as taking care of the hero's general condition and health plays a key role. At the same time, in addition to fighting for survival, we must also push the plot forward by exploring the city and its surroundings.
Initially we will be alone, but in later parts of the game we will meet other survivors. Some of them will be helpful, while others will have to be helped by us. There is also an option to trade and cooperate with people you meet. In addition, after some time we are given the opportunity to build shelters. Balancing all of this is not easy, as it always has limited time and resources that are depleted by most actions.
