Bug Heroes 2

Bug Heroes 2 is a shooter enriched with elements taken from strategy games. The game was developed by Foursaken Media.

Mechanics

Bug Heroes 2 has no storyline and the whole campaign consists simply of a series of unrelated battles. In Bug Heroes 2, we take part in a war waged by worms - the battlefields are, among others, gardens, house interiors, courtyards or streets. You can choose from a large variety of characters with their skills and weapons. Before each battle, we have to decide which two warriors to take on a mission. During the game, we control only one of them, and the other is controlled by artificial intelligence. However, we can freely switch between them at any time.

The action is observed from a camera located behind the worm's back, but there is also an option to switch on the bird's eye view. Our task on each map is to repel attacks of enemy forces on our base. The combat is pure arcade and the character's skills play a major role in it. In addition to killing enemies, we must also collect resources and items. They are used to expand the base by, e.g. erecting walls and watchtowers. This causes the player to carefully balance the defense of the command center with scouting the enemy territories in search of new supplies and to destroy enemy respawn points.

Game modes

In addition to the single-player campaign, Bug Heroes 2 also offers a survival mode in which we have to fight as long as possible with endless waves of enemies. There is also an option to compete with other people - in this multiplayer mode, two two-person teams try to destroy each other's base.
