Broken Arrow is a strategy game that tells the story of a fictional conflict between the United States and Russia. The game refers in gameplay style to such titles as World in Conflict or Wargame - it presents large-scale conflicts with the use of modern weaponry. It was developed by Steel Balalaika studio. Plot

The action of Broken Arrow takes place in our modern world. The game tells about the great war between the United States of America and Russia.

Mechanics

In Broken Arrow we observe the action from different perspectives. The game is about controlling troops and taking part in great clashes of armies using modern equipment. The player can lead one of two factions - the USA or Russia - and use several hundred units divided into seven categories: reconnaissance, infantry, combat vehicles, support, logistics, helicopters and air support.

The game also features customisable weapons and equipment for soldiers (we can choose specialised equipment such as thermal goggles, silencers or drones for reconnaissance) and vehicles (we can change armour and choose a number of additional pieces of equipment).

Game modes

In Broken Arrow we can play solo or with others. The game offers a story campaign and an online multiplayer module (PvP).

Technical aspects

Broken Arrow has a nice, 3D graphics. The setting is maintained in a realistic style, which is visible, among others, in faithfully reproduced models of vehicles and other military equipment. The maps and various effects - such as the ocean' s layout - also make a good impression.
