A sequel to a unique side-scrolling action adventure game published in 2013 by Frogmind studio. Being successful and popular among smartphone users, the game was finally released on all major gaming platforms. Badland 2 bears a strong resemblance to the first installment of the game. Once again you lead the adorable little forest creatures through dangerous levels and make sure that they reach the other end safe and sound.
Badland 2 is a two-dimensional side-scrolling action adventure game for AND and iOS. It is developed by Frogmind studio – the creators of the first instalment of the title. Being a premium production, there are no microtransactions whatsoever.
Gameplay
Badland 2, just like the first title, is an action adventure game, in which you control cute little flying forest dwellers during their journey full of dangers, enemies, and traps. In contrast to the original game, which could be played with just one finger, there is much more freedom in exploring the world - now you can fly at any direction. The game offers a new creature that can roll across the ground. Even though the mechanics are very simple, the authors still managed to provide players with a variety of challenges that test not only your skills, but also wits. Badland 2 introduces elements that were not present in the first game – flamethrowers, frost, lava, or volumetric burning light.
Game modes
Badland 2 for AND and iOS offers a long, single player campaign and various multiplayer modes. However, the traditional multiplayer is not planned, but you can compete with others in multiplayer challenges and face their ghosts re-enacting their performance.
Technical aspects
The game features a stunning and spectacular two-dimensional graphics in a style very similar to that in the first part, yet the game looks even better and sharper now.
