Beautiful, two-dimensional platformer with logical elements. The production tells the story of Leopold, to whom thieves steal all the gold accumulated over the years. Narrows, covered with hair, the hero sets off as soon as possible in pursuit of the villains.
Leo's Fortune, released on PC, XONE, etc., is a beautiful, 2D platformer with refined gameplay mechaniscs, making use of an advanced physical engine responsible for realistic character behavior and the obstacles. The game was created by independent Swedish developer studio 1337 & Senri - originally designed for the most popular mobile platforms, such as Apple iOS, Android and Windows Phone. However, the improved version of the game (HD Edition), offering 1080p resolution graphics, was released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Plot
The main character of Leo's Fortune is a bearded ball entirely covered with hair named Leopold. The player accompanies Leo in an attempt to recover the stolen gold that he has accumulated throughout most of his life. Our hero visits several unique lands filled with numerous dangers.
Mechanics
As befits a classic 2D platformer, Leo's Fortune is about going to the right of the screen and avoiding obstacles. Along the way, the player solves simple puzzles and collects gold coins dropped by thieves. The campaign was divided into twenty-four levels, located in locations such as a dense forest, snow-covered mountains, hot deserts and a city of pirates. The system of optional missions and Hardcore mode, which significantly increases the difficulty level (in order to unlock it, you need to finish the game first), add variety.
Technical aspects
Leo's Fortune impresses not only with its refined gameplay mechanics, cleverly combining all the best ideas from similar productions of recent years, but also with a refined graphic design in every inch. Puzzles and dexterity challenges have been perfectly balanced, and the controls work well in practice, so the game shouldn't cause problems both fans of dexterity games, as well as novices.
