Plot
The production draws inspiration from classic titles like Castlevania and Mega Man. You assume the role of the Angry Video Game Nerd who sets off to a world full of aventures and dangers.
Mechanics
Mechanics focus on exploring the 2D world, jumping on platforms, and fighting enemies. Developers prepared 10 levels inspired by classic titles, like Mario. To finish them, you need to master timing and skilfully use available weapons and boosters. The Angry Video Game Nerd comes across all kinds of enemies on his way – starting from armoured knights, through flying, hostile suns, ending with gigantic snowmen that attack him with snowballs.
The production features many playable characters that are based on guests appearing on the Internet show.
Technical aspects
Visuals in Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures on PC, WiiU and 3DS are kept in an old-school arcade games style. Therefore, the screen displays pixelled figures moving through colourful levels.
