Aerial_Knight's We Never Yield

Aerial_Knight's We Never Yield is the second installment of the auto-runner series of dynamic 2.5D platformers launched in 2021. The game is the result of a collaboration between Aerial_Knight and BetaJester studios.

Plot

Aerial_Knight's We Never Yield takes us to a futuristic universe. The action of the sequel is set after the events presented in the first part. The main characters are twins Wally and Lone - young kings who as children were deprived of their inheritance by their oppressive aunt Karmic and ended up in Detroit, USA. Now the protagonists return to their homeland to save their people and reclaim what is rightfully theirs, as well as to learn more about their own past.

Mechanics

In Aerial_Knight's We Never Yield, we usually watch events from the side. We take control of the characters, who run to the right through various locations, jumping and overcoming terrain obstacles and traps, sliding on sloping surfaces, and eliminating enemies (including powerful bosses). Individual actions are carried out in the form of QTE sequences. Although the protagonists usually complete levels on foot, they also have the opportunity to take the controls of small vehicles.

Game modes

Aerial_Knight's We Never Yield can be played alone or in two-player co-op on a shared screen. The game uses an interesting technique - it's possible to take control of both brothers at the same time. Additionally, special levels have been implemented, where we compete for the best score with other players, which is a semblance of multiplayer competition.

Technical aspects

The three-dimensional visuals of Aerial_Knight's We Never Yield are kept in the cartoon style known from the original. The game is played to the accompaniment of music, created by the artist from Detroit - Danime-Sama.
