A spin-off title to the Pokémon series, in the form of an educational game, in which we learn to draw the eponymous creatures. We take on the role of a young artist who creates his first work under the watchful eye of professor Andy. On each stage, our teacher introduces new gameplay elements, starting from the basic technique of drawing shapes and coloring, then raising difficulty and teaching us more advanced ways of drawing. Pokémon Art Academy was designed to quickly teach anyone to create their own good-looking images. Our works, created on 3Ds’ screen, can then be easily printed, saved on a memory card and published at Miiverse to present them to other home-grown artists.

Another application from Nintendo 3DS’ Art Academy, a series of educational games that teach us how to draw. Unlike its Pokémon-centered predecessor, this time we are given a completely new challenge, trying to create images of over 80 characters known from animated duo of Disney and Pixar. Gameplay of Disney Art Academy remains the same as in the previous title, following a series of lessons that progressively introduce us to more and more complicated drawing techniques. It is complemented by Free Paint Mode, which allow us to create whatever images we want, as well as previously featured social services that we can use to publish our works through Miiverse and social networks.
