Pokemon Art Academy is an unusual spin-off of the famous series of RPG Pokemon games. This time, however, we do not play the role of a character collecting funny creatures and fighting with other coaches, but of an artist who tries to draw Pokemony. Nintendo, one of the most distinguished video game developers and console developers, is responsible for production.

The player takes on the role of a novice artist, creating his first works under the watchful eye of Professor Andy. The teacher slowly implements us into the game, presenting basic techniques (drawing simple shapes, colouring) in order to increase the level of difficulty over time and teach more advanced methods of drawing Pokemons. The gameplay has been designed in such a way that everyone can quickly learn how to make nice looking illustrations. The creation of individual images is therefore presented step by step. At Pokémon Art Academy we do not have normal levels that have been replaced by lessons. After all, however, the game does not end and you can use your pocket to create beautiful pictures.

You can play with the style and touch screen of the 3DS handheld, on which the creatures are drawn. Created works can be published in Miiverse, boasting about them before other artists. It is also possible to save images on a memory card and print them.
