1428: Shadows over Silesia - Tourney at the Bear Rock PC

1428: Shadows over Silesia - Tourney at the Bear Rock is an add-on for the action RPG set in a fantasy version of Silesia from the time of the Hussite Wars, released in October 2022. The DLC was developed by the authors of the basic version of this production, the independent Czech studio KUBI Games.

The plot of

1428: Shadows over Silesia - Tourney at the Bear Rock focuses on the eponymous knight's tournament, held at Pernštejn Castle in honor of the beauty and virtue of the beautiful Lady Madeleine. Hynek, one of the main characters of the original, ends up here not only to prove his worth, but also to perform a certain secret task.

New features in the add-on

The biggest novelty introduced in 1428: Shadows over Silesia - Tourney at the Bear Rock is the opportunity to take part in three tournament competitions. In addition to knight duels, Hynek can prove his valor and skill by fighting his rivals hand-to-hand, as well as participating in archery competitions. In order to win, we must not only demonstrate our abilities, but also discover the weaknesses of our opponents and use them against them.

It doesn't end there, as the tournament events take place only during the day. After nightfall, the protagonist can attend large and noisy feasts or gatherings around the campfire, as well as listen to troubadours and watch jesters perform. These events provide an opportunity to meet new characters. In addition to the owner of the castle - Wilhelm of Pernštejn, Hynek has the opportunity to talk to famous Janes - Sokol of Lamberk or Žižka, among others.
