Exanima PC

The Bare Mettle Entertainment studio is a small indie developer, known for creating the RPG game – Sui Generis, which has been financed through a Kickstarter campaign at the end of the year 2012. The talented designers have worked for eleven months to create the mentioned project, meanwhile, they have also released a production named Exanima, It is a standalone dungeon crawler title, which, simultaneously, is the prologue to Sui Generis.

Gameplay

In accordance to the mentioned association, Exanima for PC transports us into the same, dark fantasy world, where we explore dungeons and engage in epic duels against the enemies we encounter along the way. The production has been released as an early access project, and the Bare Mettle studio has gradually expanded it with additional elements, transforming it into a legitimate product.

What distinguishes the project from the legion of other RPGs with an isometric view is the extremely complex and advanced combat system, influenced by the physics engine. The characters do not react to our orders in the blink of an eye, on the contrary, their movements are ponderous and slow, which is why we need to plan our actions well in advance. The system is quite complicated and strays away from the solutions of other titles; the players need to arm themselves with patience and try to become accustomed with the very intriguing and interesting feature.

Game modes and Technology

Exanima for PC offers both a single player and a multiplayer mode. In the latter we have the opportunity to duel against other players in special arenas. The title is based on the original technology of the Bare Mettle Entertainment studio. The graphics are extremely detailed and together with the advanced physics and a well-developed lighting system they make the production a spectacular experience.
