Menu

The menu can be found under the Esc key (to leave the game you have to confirm with Y or cancel by pressing N).

It is worth checking the menu as soon as the game starts, and select the option to display text - otherwise, in the cinematics and during the actual gameplay (except for the dialog options you can pick) subtitles will not appear, and beginning with the intro itself, there is a lot of talking. Repeat this action each time you start up the game.

Equipment

You can show the inventory by pressing the I key or TAB or the RMB. It is presented as a skull, the items you collect fall into the open jaw. In the case of a larger amount of items, you can scroll through them to either side by using the arrows in the eye sockets of the skull.

When using the RMB a tooltip with information about a given item in your inventory will appear, and you can use the LMB to take the item out of the inventory. Items from your equipment can only be used on external objects (use need to drag the item onto the object and press the LMB to confirm), and they cannot be combined with one another.

Exploration

Around the cursor in the shape of a white plus sign, on interactive objects, there will appear a red border. Squeezing the left mouse button prompts, the name of the given object will appear together with a large icon, consisting of a skull, a hand and a foot, through which you can perform specific actions: "Examine" (the eye sockets or the E button); "Talk to", "Use Mouth" (the mouth and tongue on the skull or the T button); "Pick Up", "Get on the bike", "Open", "Punch" (the hand or the P button), "Kick", "Climb", "Start the bike" (the foot or the K button).

All interactive objects can be highlighted by pressing Shift. Pressing the red arrow twice can help if you want the protagonist to get to a next location quicker. The full stop (./>) button scrolls text, and Backspace skips cut scenes.

Arcade challenges

Every once in a while there are some sections of the game which require good reflexes or require you to complete something within a specific time period. Ben, while driving his bike, can fight against members of other gangs, by throwing them off the road and off their machines. If they are equipped with a weapon or another useful tool or gadget, he can take it away from them this way. The hero will also participate in a car derby and also needs to get out of a speeding truck, and then a plane, in time before the vehicle crashes.

Remastered version

By pressing F1, you can alternate between a normal and remastered version of the game. If you decide to play with developers commentary (Bonus->Audio Commentary) you may turn it on (when the game informs you about such a possibility) to listen through a commentary about the given situation.
