Vehicles

Vehicles in FarmVille were created for tired farmers to aid them while they work on the farm. You got more animals to care for over time, but also new crops to harvest and new tasks, so vehicles are just perfect help for such activities.

You can find all available vehicles at the Market's Vehicles bookmark. A Tractor (or the Pink Tractor) is a basic vehicle, which almost every farmer can buy. You can afford also a Harvester or a Seeder. A tractor plows land, a harvester collects fully grown crops and a seeder plants seeds. A tractor costs 5,000 coins, so that's not so bad, but other two costs 30,000 each. You should also have the proper experience level, that is 12 to buy a tractor, 13 to buy a harvester and 14 to buy a seeder. All these vehicles can be upgraded in a garage, but we'll talk about this later.

Your newly purchased vehicle can be parked anywhere on your farm. To send it to work, just click the proper icon in Plow tool menu. Each vehicle, regardless of its type, can help you to plow/seed/harvest a 2x2 area, which greatly speed up the work. So now you can have 4 fields done with only one click. Just watch the tractor, while it makes new fields besides only plowing them, so some may need manual plowing.

When using a tractor, you can sometimes find coins popping up from the ground (they go directly to your account). You can also come across oil from time to time, but it doesn't mean that your farm becomes Kuwait. Oil provides only additional fuel for your vehicles.

Fuel

To have you vehicles fully operative, you need some fuel. With purchasing your first vehicle, you get a possibility to store fuel in your farm's supply tank (you should see the suitable icon in the bottom left side of the game screen). A fuel tank is represented as the orange bar along side of the fuel icon and additional fuel tanks are shown as number in the green area at the bottom of this icon. One fuel tank can contain up to 150 units and to see its details just move you cursor over the fuel bar. One unit is used for one plot on your farm, and all vehicles use the same fuel tank.

But as you know for sure, fuel has to be replenished somehow. First method is to buy it, but you can do this only with Farm Cash and the cheapest fuel tank costs 3 banknotes. So as you can see it is better to use some alternative, cheap methods. First of all, you can do ... nothing. It regenerates slowly, and the rate is determined by number of plots of land you have.

The other way is to exchange your crafted goods (e.g. cakes, wines, perfumes) for fuel. You can read about this in another part of this guide.

Do not hesitate also to visit your neighbors, while fertilizing their crops may result in finding additional fuel. Fuel can be found also in Mystery Gifts, Mystery Boxes or even in Mystery Eggs. Sometimes it is good to take a look at Facebook board, while your friends may be so generous and share a fuel with you. There are many ways to get fuel for free and to save your Farm Cash for other things.
