For many players Red Dead Redemption was the best game of the 7th generation of consoles. The story of John Marston's redemption has not only magically attracted all fans of Clint Eastwood and spaghetti westerns (a rather small group of people) but also players who wanted to immerse themselves in an incredibly sophisticated and engaging gameplay. Once again, Rockstar managed to enchant us with an expansive open-ended world that set some new trends. A remarkable achievement.
For a sequel, or rather a prequel, we had to wait eight years. But it was well worth it, as RDR 2 is another masterpiece on the account of this famous studio. You can be certain, that you will hear more about it over the next eight years. At least, as long as Rockstar will finally announce that RDR III is in development. As in the case of the previous part of the series, it will be one of the greatest titles of its time, that is, of generation number eight. Eight is, according to some, a magical number. So, if it appears in this paragraph for the third time, it can't be just a mere coincidence.
This time we explore a vast world as Arthur Morgan, member of the gang formed by the charismatic Dutch van der Linde. Arthur has to choose whether he is a law-abiding citizen or a loyal friend and a bandit. The creators have prepared many side activities, thanks to which exploration and learning about the American frontier take place at a rather slow pace letting you relax and take in the sights. However, RDRII repays that with an unforgettable atmosphere and wonderful impressions.
