Horizon Zero Dawn 2. Top 16 Games We Want to Play on PS5
Table of Contents
Chances of a PS5 release: very high
Chances of a release on other platforms: none
Successfully introducing a new brand to the market is never easy. Gamers like to complain about the conservatism of the creators and subsequent sequels, but in the end, they are much more willing to buy more installments of known franchises than give new brands a chance. Horizon Zero Dawn debut went, however, fabulously, making the game one of the strongest positions in the list of exclusive PS4 games right off the bat.
Aloy's story as such may not have been too original. The story of the natural disaster that took humanity back to the time of the tribes was, however, surprisingly well-written and intriguing. An equally successful motif was the mechanical dinosaurs that took over the Earth. This world has great potential to be developed further in the potential sequel.
Of course, it would be nice to also visit new regions on the PS5 – for example, the ruins of American metropolises. An element that we thing would need some work is combat with humans, which was underwhelming compared to killing the dinos.
We'd also like to play: Prince of Persia
The hibernation of the Prince of Persia series for so many years is a very strange move from Ubisoft. Since The Sands of Time, the franchise did pretty well, enjoying a lot of sympathy from players. In addition, games from the series would be a good diversion from Assassin's Creeds, providing an experience that's at once similar and distinct. No matter if this would be an open-world game with a fairy-tale-like atmosphere, as the 2008 installment, or a grimier take on the adventures of the Prince, as in the latter two installments of the trilogy, we are definitely ready for this come-back.
