The next game on our list is a representative of quite unusual genre. This is a complex turn-based tactical strategy, which originally derived from consoles. Wargroove is the spiritual successor of the legendary Advance Wars series.

The gameplay consists in taking part in complex tactical battles, involving many types of different units. Your victory depends on how well you can use the abilities of your troops, how you approach your opponent or what formations you may use to defeat the enemy. All this has an impact on the final result of the fight, as some of your sub-commanders get high bonuses for using certain maneuvers, such as surrounding the enemy. Choosing the right tactics is not easy, because enemy controlled by your PC has a pretty smart AI, what is extremely important and rare in games of this type.

The game is full of various content. So you get a rich story campaign, taking place in a fantasy world with unique characters. Besides that, you can play smaller scenarios, both single player and in multi-player mode – in the form of so-called hot seats and online connection.
