Susan Ashworth (The Cat Lady)

  1. Year of debut: 2012
  2. Key games: The Cat Lady, Downfall: Redux, Lorelai
  3. Age when he does his bravest deeds: 42
  4. Voice actress: Lynsey Frost

The protagonist of The Cat Lady has not always been brave. In a little over forty years of her life, she did not avoid many mistakes, finally gave up and committed suicide. But this is just the beginning of her story. Resurrected by a mysterious deity – the Queen of Worms, she found the courage to deal with the worst degenerates, unscrupulously eliminating them even at the cost of her own suffering.

In surreal visions, she's forced to mutilate herself and face the most hideous nightmares imaginable. This, however, doesn't break Susan's spirit. Although the heroine dies many times, each time she is resurrected by the Queen of Worms, as promised, continuing her crusade against the murderers.

However, Susan shows the greatest courage at the very end of the game. Despite everything she has been through, she decides to live. In her case, it is precisely not going back to the subject of suicide that is an act of true courage. This is influenced by Mitzi – a young girl with whom Susan managed to get married and who showed her that even if Ashworth did not want to live for herself, it is worth living for others. And then, sooner or later, among all these nightmares, there will be even a few moments of lighthearted humor. At least, this is what the creator of the series, Remigiusz Michalski, convinces us in the finale of this dark adventure.
