Aurora (Child of Light). The bravest video game heroines

Table of Contents

  1. Year of debut: 2014
  2. Key games: Child of Light
  3. Age when he performs his bravest acts: 15

At first, Child of Light may seem like an innocent fairy tale. Here is the deeply asleep Princess Aurora (there are many references to the fairy tale about the Sleeping Beauty here) sets out on a journey through the magical Lemuria to reach her father who needs her support. Soon thereafter, other companions join her, including a sister from another reality.

During the journey, Aurora matures. She has to face the loss of her loved ones, betrayal, and the consequences of her own mistakes. The convention of the game is fairy-tale-like, but the events the princess is witnessing make Child of Light a story more bitter than sweet.

Aurora performs the boldest deeds as a 15-year-old, but it is impossible to refuse bravado from her early childhood, when she learned to fight with a sword, use spells and readied to face hordes of enemies who want to take her life. Sometimes she's accompanied by fear, but Aurora never allows it to interfere with her goal and free Lemuria.
