Eagle Rising – Dawn of an Empire
Here's another modification that completely revamps Bannerlord. It's true that the action of CA – Eagle Rising – Dawn of an Empire still takes place in Calradia, but in the ancient version. At first glance, there's inspiration from the real powers of our world. The Empire faction is clearly a reference to ancient Rome, while the Khuzait represents the Greek cities.
This all involves rebuilding unit trees. You have to admit that the effects are great – the soldiers often look better than in the original. The fact that a number of new items have been added to the game is also gratifying, which creates an opportunity to test other types of weapons or armor. The developers themselves also deserve praise, especially for their approach to the project. This modification receives continuous support – frequent updates introduce new features and fix bugs.
The mod works only with versions 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 (November 2022 patches).

The Old Realms – for fans of Warhammer
This mod takes us to the world of Warhammer. We're dealing here with a dark fantasy universe. Currently, there are two cultures to choose from – the Empire and the Vampires. There's a lot of attention to detail in the character creation. Armors and reworked icons look great.
After starting the game, it's worth getting acquainted with the map – the size of the available area is impressive. The vibes of Warhammer can already be felt in the first village. The architecture of the building has been completely changed from the original. Unfortunately, many cities and settlements still haven't been reworked. However, there is a vampire stronghold and it looks fantastic. The creators also managed to add many units and even a magic system.
At the time of writing this, the mod was in development, but already quite a lot of content is available. Ultimately, the authors want to bring the entire Old World to Bannerlord. So, the plans are ambitious. We keep our fingers crossed for their success, because the modification is of exceptionally high quality.
