Just three hours? Really? Yes, indeed! Once upon a time, on arcade machines, a three-hour session was an eternity, and Streets of Rage 4 is after all a tribute to 2D brawlers that reigned in the arcades. This is also another installment of an extremely popular franchise from the early 90s. that enables you to meet some old friends, such as Axel Stone or Blaze Fielding. The plot does not matter much here, it's just about kicking, literally, the butts of subsequent waves of thugs flooding the city streets.

The game is characterized by interesting, comic-book like graphics and a good dose of retro. When going through the levels you have to learn to use different combos, defeat a few bosses and hordes of fairly diverse opponents. And in case of any trouble there is an option to play in cooperation with friends. This may be a short, but very intense dose of essential classic video games.
