  5. Platforms: Switch

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a game that perfectly suited the beginning of the pandemic. A relaxing simulator of idyllic island life with the possibility of visiting and interacting with friends turned out to be a great distraction from successive waves of Covid, lockdown and a generally depressing atmosphere. This is definitely not a game for those who like explosions, fast action and thrills. Life goes on slowly and in an upbeat atmosphere.

Apart from players, all inhabitants of the island are animals. Cat fans will have reasons to be happy, because felines are represented by as many as three groups of heroes – cats, lions and tigers. As in the case of other animals, here we also deal with single character models, which then are slightly modified for individual inhabitants. Most importantly, nothing stops you from creating an island inhabited exclusively by cats.

Currently, he keeps an evening and weekend shift in the Tech section, and contributes to journalistic texts during the day. If a picture has a bad caption in a review, it's probably his fault. He has been playing since forever, and also likes to talk a lot. In 2019, he decided to combine both passions and started streaming on Twitch. A small but remarkable community has formed around his channel, which he considers one of his greatest achievements. He also has a cat and a wife.
