Automobilista 2. Top 10 Best Racing Games in 2023

Darius Matusiak

Automobilista 2

  1. Year of release: 2020
  2. Developer: Reiza Studios
  3. Platform: PC Windows
  4. Game characteristics: authentic tracks, authentic racing series - from karts, through classic cars, to trucks

It's worth keeping quiet about what Project Cars 3 turned into after Codemasters acquired the SMS studio. Automobilista 2 already has a worthy successor on the market, despite the second installment of this series still looking good and offering a good balance between accessibility and realism. The game was developed using the same engine as PC 2 and was released in Early Access in 2020. It is continuously being developed and by its developers, unlike its technology "donor."

Automobilista 2 lets you take the wheel of a wide variety of vehicles, primarily from Brazilian racing series - from karts, through classic racing cars and regular cars, to even trucks. The game also provides all the benefits of the PC 2 engine, such as dynamic weather changes and a day-night system for conducting 24-hour races. Simracing fanatics won't find the same level of realism and extensive content as in the Assetto Corsa series here.

Three biggest pros:

  1. good balance between driving and realistic sim;
  2. passion and support of developers;
  3. great experiences in VR.
