What will Victoria 3 be about?

This is the third installment in the series of great strategies, focusing on the colonial period. We will lead the chosen nation in the years 1836–1936, leading it to its fullest bloom. As a leader at the head of a state, we will have to strike a balance in economic, political and military matters. Trade, diplomacy, espionage, as well as concern for social groups and the position on the international arena will be important. Depending on our decisions and capabilities, everything can be settled either through an armed conflict or through political intrigues. You will be able to prove yourself in the role of a leader in the single player campaign and in online battles.

Why is it worth the wait?

Victoria 3 is supervised by specialists in the genre of grand strategies, i.e. the Paradox studio. In addition, the latest part comes out twelve years after the release of the previous entry – so we are not dealing with a small refreshment or a package of additional missions, but with a completely new production, taking advantage of all the improvements and novelties that cam about in the meantime. The creators announced, among others, they won't shy away from difficult subjects and will include slavery in the game, among others. Another mechanic is to be a "diplomatic game", where a special timer will count down the time after requests are made between countries to either reach an agreement through negotiations or use this time to mobilize troops and enter alliances. Victoria 3 may not be a game for everyone, but fans of Paradox strategy should be more than satisfied.
