What will God of War: Ragnarok be about?
This is a follow up of the phenomenal last entry in the series, which showed Kratos from a slightly different perspective than previous games. We will once again accompany the famous hero and his son Atreus during a crucial moment of history – the coming of Ragnarok, a battle between gods and giants that heralds the inevitable end of the world. How will a Spartan warrior who prefers to be in control of his own fate find himself in all this, in addition with a wayward teenager by his side? We will find out soon enough. In any case, we will have to fight a lot again, solve environmental puzzles and visit amazing locations.
Why is it worth the wait?
The previous part showed the relationship between father and son in a very mature and convincing way. It was this thread that came to the fore in the story and among all those boss fights. It is also impossible not to mention the brilliant tech of the game – the whole production was shown from only one camera angle, providing a truly cinematic experience. Sequel will certainly raise the bar even higher, both in terms of the story and setting. If only the publisher would finally announce the release date.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- Genre: action game
- Developer: Massive Entertainment / Ubisoft Massive
- Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X & S
- Release date: 2022?
What will Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora be about?
We don't know the details of the plot or gameplay yet, except that the whole thing is based on the films (there will soon be two of them) entitled Avatar and directed by James Cameron. So we can count on the fabulous landscapes of the Pandora moon in the Alpha Centauri system and a story based on the conflict of terrestrial colonists with the indigenous population of aliens called Na'vi.
Why is it worth the wait?
The upcoming premiere of Avatar: The Way of Water promises to be a huge hit – after all, the famous director probably did everything he could to top the success of the well-received original. And the game will be related to the promotion of the film. In addition, we've got the Massive studio and the Snowdrop engine – which means we can expect a really spectacular graphic design – let's hope all the rest fits the quality graphics and the strength of the Avatarbrand.
