Summertime is a great period to catch up on some of the games we haven't had time to play. Especially this year, because I don't think that I need to remind you what awaits us in September. And I'm not talking about going back to school and returning to our workplace. Because from September we will experience a real storm of premieres we've been looking forward to for a long time! A real avalanche of games that will absorb us for hours. And will probably cause that we will forget about most of the games we are currently playing

So it is worth taking an interest not only in the games that are waiting to be picked up, but also in those that we simply forgot about. Below you'll find our list of the best missed games of the first half of 2023 - ones that aren't hard to miss or ones that could have been wrongly missed.

What is Miasma Chronicles about?

Miasma Chronicles is a work from the developers of warmly received Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. Once again, we find ourselves in a post-apocalyptic world, which we observe from above and explore in real time. Battles, are played in turn-based mode. Instead of anthropomorphic animals, this time we control a young boy - Elvis. His team is supported by the loyal robot Diggs. The world has been overtaken by a mysterious force called Miasma, but Elvis possesses a magical glove capable of controlling this plague. The team goes on an expedition to discover what stands behind the plague and what is the future for humanity.

What makes it worth playing?

In Miasma Chronicles, every single element has been excellently executed, and all of them together make the game a very satisfying production. The game looks delightful, and the created world and plot are quite convincing. Just like the characters' creations, although there is not much uniqueness in them. The essence of the gameplay is based on tactica combat, which proves easy to master and draws you every time, regardless of whether you choose to sneak or engage in direct confrontation. Fans of XCOM and other turn-based games should be interested in this title.
