Cloudpunk is in some ways more intriguing than Cyberpunk 2077. The technical side of the game leaves a lot to be desired, and the story itself could use a more clearly outlined theme, but the atmosphere of the city of the future flows from almost every location. Especially when we observe the metropolis from above.
The plot assumptions seem very simple – the novice courier, Naria, carries out tasks, delivering parcels to the farthest corners of Nivalis. How she gets there is up to the player. In the meantime, she may find employees of large corporations, gangsters, rich people bored with life, and even androids.
It's not a good idea to go through Cloudpunk too fast. If you play the game too often, it may become a tad boring. It's more of an interactive show than a game in the classic sense of the word. Gameplay is only a pretext here to show a futuristic city. Cloudpunk is a game to be felt, to slowly absorb the atmosphere of Nivalis, not to speedrun. However, it's worth giving this voxel artwork a chance. Or two.
