What is Lethal Company?
This survival horror game allows you to experience fear (and enjoyment) either alone or with a group of up to 4 players. In Lethal Company, we take on the role of scrappers searching long-forgotten industrial complexes. Forgotten, but not abandoned. Blood-chilling creatures lurk in buildings scattered across the surface of various moons as we travel through space aboard our own ship. Gathering valuable loot while being aware that a deadly threat could be hidden in every corner (the locations are randomly generated, so you can't memorize them) is significantly more challenging and can send shivers down your spine. Furthermore, we not only need to lift the scrap, but also carry it to the ship, and all the time we are pursued not only by monsters, but also by time - we have to meet the standard. Over time, however, we buy tools that facilitate the whole process and allow us to better deal with monsters.
What makes this a good game to play with friends?
Although the game has a rather fast pace and requires you to be vigilant, there are also calmer moments, such as before darkness and increased monster activity. During such moments, it's possible to have a peaceful conversation about topics unrelated to the game, spend time coming up with new ways to handle the threat, or coordinate actions. The thoughtful cooperation of the whole team brings a lot of satisfaction. However, if someone isn't interested in getting right into the action, they can follow and support their colleagues' activities from the ship -- this is a perfect option for people with weaker nerves.
