What is Helldivers 2?

The game was released about a month ago, on February 8th, and it's already a sensation. The significant and perhaps unexpected success of Helldivers 2, which at first glance appears to be a standard TPP shooter (FPP during precise aiming), was determined by the masterful refinement of the most important gameplay elements and a lighthearted setting (fighting bugs and robots in defense of democracy, a bit like in Starship Troopers). You can sense the distinct characteristics of each weapon, their power, and the challenges associated with transitioning too quickly from running or scanning to aiming. The chaotic battlefields drenched in diverse weather effects are also remarkable. The maps have excellent design and radiate atmosphere.

What makes this a good game to play with friends?

Helldivers 2 gains a lot when played with a group of friends. Basically, it's possible to write about any title with a multiplayer mode, but in this case, it is particularly noticeable. Playing solo significantly increases the difficulty level and overwhelms you with unsuccessful attempts to find your way in the chaos of war. On small maps and in a group, there won't be a moment to catch your breath, but on the larger ones, there will be opportunities for a leisurely chat with friends, even while completing additional objectives and sightseeing trips.
