Volker Wertich is responsible for the new city builder – we owe this individual the birth of The Settlers series. The creator returns to the roots and in Pioneers of Pagonia, wants to resurrect the original ideas behind this economic strategy. However, this will not be just a nostalgia trip – a number of new solutions and ideas have been announced, such as procedurally generated maps.

Medieval economic strategy

There's no story campaign in Pioneers of Pagonia. The aim is to unite the tribes scattered across various islands of the title archipelago. It will be necessary to create an economic powerhouse and lead the society towards prosperity. To accomplish this, it will be necessary to ensure access to appropriate resources, manage production chains, and meet the needs of residents. There will also be no shortage of defending your interest against the ambitions of rivals, thieves, or ghosts.
