5. War Mongrels

  1. Developer: Destructive Creations
  2. Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X
  3. Game summary: a Commandos-esque game that doesn't stray from difficult topics

War Mongrels is the second Polish game on our list. The work of Destructive Creations studio differs significantly from the aforementioned Timberborn. It tackles the difficult subject of the Second World War, which the developers chose to depict without any unnecessary censorship. For this reason alone, the game has caught the eye of many players.

However, there is much more to this game than its controversial subject matter. It's also a title that many fans of the iconic Commandos series will appreciate. In War Mongrels, you will spend most of your time sneaking around and silently eliminating enemies while taking advantage of the surrounding environment. It's also essential to make the most of the skills of all the characters the game puts at our disposal.

Don't forget that War Mongrels can also be played in multiplayer mode. If your friends are into these kinds of games, you might be able to convince them to join in on the fun.

The game's biggest pluses:

  1. an engaging storyline and a diverse set of characters;
  2. easily enjoyable, old school gameplay;
  3. great cut-scenes.
