The Twilight Saga was used to be one of the most popular film series of the 2010s. And although it went quiet after the premiere of the last entry (similar to Game of Thrones), the biggest fans still have movie nights watching all the parts, so it remains a popular entry on streaming services.
Twilight is a very good book adaptation, but a rather mediocre film. And don't get me wrong: the point of view depends on where you're seated. Certainly, Twilight is mostly a teen drama. And although I do not think it is a complete waste of time, there are still quite a few arguments that validate it's presence here.
But that also means that there's a scene, which in some ways remains unforgettable. We are talking about the game of baseball – during which the main characters have been etched into the history of memes. Because the game of baseball is so bad it's outstanding. Why? Where to staryt... No one has ever thought of combining vampire abilities with baseball! It looks hilarious, and accidentally almost cute: dark color palette mixes with somewhat unfair sportsmanship, and the vampire heroes will do anything to help their team win. A small, seemingly insignificant scene, but it's so much fun!
