Dark Alliance: Combat - enemies, attacks, dodges Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance guide walkthrough
Last update: 08 July 2021
On this page of the Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance guide you will find basic information about the combat system.
Different types of enemies
In D&D Dark Alliance you will encounter many various enemies with different statistics (immunity, health regeneration, etc.) and skills, making fights very dynamic and challenging, especially at the highest difficulty level.
Attacks, combos, skills
Each hero in Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance has unique attacks and skills that can be combined into powerful combinations. Some blows may have additional effects, e.g. draining some of the enemy's stamina or their health.
Dodges, blocks, parrying blows
In D&D Dark Alliance you can limit the amount of damage you receive by using three useful techniques - dodging, blocking and parrying the blows of enemies. It should be noted here that parrying a blow knocks the enemy off and exposes them to a counterattack.
Ultimate
Each character available in Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance has a unique super ability (Ultimate).
- Drizzt Do'urden: Drow summons the spirit of the Guenhwyvar panther, which attacks nearby enemies;
- Catti-Brie: the heroine fires bright projectiles with high killing force, which have a greater hit radius and can pierce through weak objects and monsters standing in a straight line;
- Bruenor Battlehammer: the hero puts a banner which provides allies with a bonus for physical and elemental damage resistance;
- Wulfgar: the hero unleashes a crushing attack that inflicts huge damage within a medium radius
