Heroes Of Middle World 2 is a mod for The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth II, created by Ciullo Corporation.

Info:

The mod adds some features and rebalanced some units to open new strategical possibilities.

Main Changes:

1. Heroes (except the personalized ones) don't influence the population limit, so you can build a few more unit
2. Long range siege units can attack flying units (however they don't have the precision of archers against moving flying units).
3. Changed some armour values to enhance realism.
4. Added some abilities to some Heroes and changed some of the existing abilities.

INSTALL

Extract the Mod folder and place it somewhere on your hard disk (maybe under the Lord of the Rings directory in your Documents' folder).

Now, copy the batch file "HOMW2.bat" and paste it in your game folder (near the "lotrbfme2.exe").

In order to play you have to edit the .bat file, you can use a simple text editor like MS Notepad.

After you've opened the file, you'll see this text:

lotrbfme2.exe -xres 1920 -yres 1080 -mod "Drive-Letter:\Directory-where-you-place-the-mod\Mod\HOMW2"

-xres and -yres allow the full hd resolution for the game (1920x1080). You can change their value or delete them if you don't want to play at that resolution.

Drive-Letter indicates the hard drive on which you've copied the Mod folder. Change it according with your drive letter (E.G. "C", "D",etc.)

Directory-where-you-place-the-mod indicates the full route to your mod folder (E.G.:Users\Ciullo Corporation\Documents\The Lord of The Rings).

At the end the batch file will looks something like this:

lotrbfme2.exe -xres 1920 -yres 1080 -mod "C:\Users\Ciullo_Corporation_Modder\Documents\The Lord of The Rings\Mod\HOMW2"

RUN

Simply exec the "HOMW2.bat" and the mod will start.

UNINSTALL

Delete the "HOMW2" folder and batch file.
