BFME2 1.06v2 (Fan Patch) is a mod for Battle for Middle-earth II, created by th30l.
Description:
Rework of the popular 1.06 patch (last patch released by EA). Includes fix of OOS & bugs, new maps, other improvements.
FIXES INCLUDE:
OOS
Out of Synch (OOS) in a multiplayer game will no longer occur because of network/connection issues. If OOS does occur, it means that a player has changed their game files to cause OOS.
Fixes of glitches/bugs & Other improvements
Dwarves
Battlewagons will no longer shoot from within the mines
Battlewagons can longer be upgraded with multiple upgrades
Mordor
Glitch where Witch King could be stolen by Grima permanently is now fixed
Nazgul ‘quick attack’ glitch is now fixed
Taverns now have a ‘delete’ button
Fortress fire arrows upgrade will now show as purchased (when it has indeed been purchased)
Elves
Thranduil ‘dead eye’ ability glitch is now fixed
Arwen is now mounted when recruited
Archers will now have a slight distortion effect when ‘Farsight’ (5pp) is used on them to show the range bonus
Men
Boromir ‘quick attack’ glitch is now fixed
Isengard
Units will now have a dust effect on their feet when ‘Palantir’ (5pp) is used on them to show the movement speed bonus
Goblins
Gorkil ‘quick attack’ glitch is now fixed
Gorkil (on scorpion) & Shelob locomotor improved (i.e. how they move/turn)
Miscellaneous changes
Units will now exit barracks/tunnels/mines more quickly, and locomotor of some units has been improved
Beaconsnow have a timer which means they will automatically be deleted after 1 minute
Around 25 newmaps added (1v1 2v2 3v3 4v4)
All maps are nowzoomable to 750 so that players don’t need to use the unlimited zoom script (for comparison, the 1.09 patch zoom is 560 – so it’s 25+% more than that which should be more than enough)
Newsound effects/voices when some powers are used (e.g. cloudbreak, darkness, freezing rain) & when some high tier heroes are recruited (Gandalf, Witch King, Elrond, Saruman, Gimli, Aragorn)
Balancing changes

Gandalf
-- Wizard Blast (lvl 1 ability) area of effect & damage increased by 10%
-- Istari Light (lvl 7 ability) damage vs Heroes increased by 40%
Faramir
-- Attack speed increased by 35%
-- Wounding Arrow (lvl 2 ability) area of effect increased by 150% & damage reduced by 40%. Also causes meta impact to a small radius

Elrond
-- Damage increased by 20%
-- Athelas (lvl 2 ability) now heals 50% more
Glorfindel
-- Attack speed & siege damage decreased by 35%
-- Lvl 3 ability now gives +75% armor & + 75% damage (instead of invulnerability and +100% damage)
Legolas
-- Build time decreased from 95 seconds to 75

Battlewagons
-- Men of Dale range, damage & attack speed reduced by 40%
-- Oil Barrels fire damage reduced by 60%
Hammers
-- Upgrade technology now costs 1000 instead of 500
-- Damage reduced by 16%

Haradrim Archers
-- Attack speed increased by 12%
-- Range increased by 14%
Taverns
-- Corsairs discount is now 5% instead of 10% with each additional tavern

Uruk Crossbows
-- Attack speed increased by 14%
Sharku
-- Attack speed increased by 24%
-- Now causes splash damage to a small radius (same as Mouth of Sauron/Glorfindel/Shelob)
Saruman
-- Fireball (lvl 2 ability) burn rate reduced by 25%
-- Lightning blast (lvl 10 ability) area of effect increased by 400% & damage decreased by 86% (now it’s an area of effect power similar to Gandalf’s word of power but less powerful)

Goblin Archers
-- Cost decreased from 350 to 315
-- Range increased by 14%
-- Attack speed increased by 65%
Shelob
-- Attack speed increased by 12%
-- Movement speed increased by 10%

Arrow Volley (10pp - Elves / Mordor)
-- Reload time decreased from 6 minutes to 4.5
Hobbits (10pp - Men / Dwarves)
-- Movement speed increased by 35%
Cloudbreak (15pp - Men / Elves / Dwarves)
-- Reload time decreased from 7.5 minutes to 6 (now same as Darkness/Freezing Rain)
Dragon Strike (25pp - Isengard)
-- It has been reworked so that all fortresses take the same amount of damage. It still destroys a non-upgraded fort, but an upgraded fort will remain with around 10% of health. Dragon also has more health now.
Summoned Dragon (25pp - Isengard / Goblins)
-- Attack speed increased by 20% -- Reload time decreased from 12 minutes to 10.5
Sunflare (25pp - Elves)
-- Reload time decreased from 12 minutes to 10.5
