SLPF - Stuttering and Low Performance Fix is a mod for Hogwarts Legacy, crearted by Riesi.
Description:
The Ultimate Solution to Stuttering and Low Performance.
This game appears to exhibit some performance issues, most notably stuttering regardless of the hardware in use, hopefully this should alliviate the issue until a proper patch comes out, this dll is almost empty with only direct return calls.
Instructions:
1 Place CChromaEditorLibrary64.dll in <path-to-game>/Phoenix/Plugins/ChromaSDKPlugin/Binaries/Win64, overwrite files when prompted to do so.
2 Go to "AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor" and backup "Engine.ini". Add the following to the bottom of the file and save it:

- Wich value exactly should you use:
The value of half the GPU memory in megabytes (e.g. a 8 GB GPU would be 4096, so r.Streaming.PoolSize=4096).
6144 if the GPU memory is 12 GB or higher.
Save and close the file.
- Optionals:
- Disabling analytics variable, in "AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor" open GameUserSettings.ini in NotePad, locate the bAnalyticsEnabled=True parameter under [/Script/Engine.GameUserSettings] , set it to False and then save the file, if it doesn't exist then create it.
- Disabling FSO is also recommended, right click the game .exe and enter its properties screen, under the compatibility tab, tick "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and click ok.
- About FSO:
- By default, Windows use fullscreen optimizations overriding the fullscreen mode in games to force a "hybrid" between exclusive fullscreen and windowed borderless mode, wich comes with latency and lower performance, for that reason its always advisable to disable it globally or per application.
