Gothic-Strike MiniBeta is a modification for Gothic developed by The_Camper2. The project adds contemporary military equipment to the game, including various firearms (e.g. AK-47 assault rifle or Desert Eagle pistol) as well as tactical armor based on military uniforms. The shooting works similarly to the crossbows that are used in this game (but with more damage).
Sadly, the modification is available only in German language. However, this isn't that problematic during the gameplay because this project doesn't offer any new story missions. Instead, it gives players a chance to shoot in the familiar universe.
The modification has its own installer – GothicStrike_MiniBeta-1.01.exe file. The application is in German. After running it you have to press "Weiter" and then you have to select the game's folder (e.g. "…Program Files\Piranha Bytes\Gothic"). Press "Installieren". Once the files are copied, you can press "Fertig Stellen". Run the modification by using Gothic Player Kit.
