Enhanced Texture Pack is a mod for Far Cry 2, created by boggalog.

Description:

This is a texture pack for Far Cry 2 that uses ERSGAN AI upscaling to improve the original textures. The original plan was to increase the resolution of all textures 16x but it turns out Far Cry 2 can't handle a large amount of textures without crashing immediately, so this pack includes a selection of textures with 4x resolution. Notable exceptions that couldn't fit are NPC clothes/faces, vehicle dirt masks and most terrain textures.

Installation Instructions

1) Copy your patch.dat/.fat files from any mod or the original game, and paste them into the "Tools" folder. The original game's patch files can be found in your Far Cry 2 directory (\Far Cry 2\Data_Win32).

2) Drag either patch.dat or patch.fat onto "Gibbed.Dunia.Unpack.exe". This will create a folder called "patch_unpack".

3) Copy the folders within in the "Enhanced Texture Pack" folder into the "patch_unpack" folder.

4) Drag the "patch_unpack" folder onto "Gibbed.Dunia.Pack.exe". This will create two "patch_unpack.dat/.fat" files. Rename these to "patch.dat" and "patch.fat" and you're done. You can now copy them into your Far Cry 2 directory (\Far Cry 2\Data_Win32).
