Alternative Character Lighting is a mod for Cyberpunk 2077, created by Twinpanic.
Description:
Removes the artificial rim lighting from characters clothes and skin. And few other tweaks.
It makes rougher materials on clothing look more realistic by removing the fake glossiness. The changes are pretty subtle and only really tested with all RTX setting turned on, but also works without rtx.
List of changes made in the .ini
- Decreases the artificial rim lighting from characters clothes and skin.
- Increases subsurface scattering specularity
- Lowers roughness of hair to increase shine

To install:
Extract the archive. Take the „engine” folder from it and copy it to game’s main direktory.
