Last update: 31 July 2020
On this page of our guide to Destroy All Humans you can find key information about the water in the game's world and how it may affect your character. We explain whether you can swim in the water and what happens if you get into a water reservoir.
Impact of water on character's shield
Every encounter with water will destroy your shield. The longer you stay in the water, the more damage your shield will receive. Be careful and try not to fall into any water reservoir during battles. This way you can reduce your chances of winning.

Can I swim in Destroy All Humans?
No. As we have already explained above, you can't swim or dive in the game. As soon as you get close to it you will start receiving severe injuries.
There are no objectives in the game that force you to explore aquatic areas. Thus, you can freely avoid puddles, ponds, lakes and any water reservoirs.
Remember that the easiest way to avoid the water is by using a jet pack.
