Destroy All Humans 2020: DAH 2005 and 2020 - are they different? Destroy All Humans 2020 guide, walkthrough
Last update: 04 August 2020
This section of the guide to Destroy All Humans will answer whether the 2020 version of the game is different from the 2005 one.
Game length
Destroy All Humans, that was released in 2005, offered 10 hours of gameplay associated with the main story campaign and another 20 hours of additional content.
It should take you approximately 5-6 hours to complete the story of 2020 edition of Destroy All Humans. Within a few hours you will travel through a few locations where you can wreak havoc and corruption. However, it can take much longer to max out all maps than to simply complete the story. If you want to get all upgrades available in the game and all achievements, then you have to devote more than 20 hours to the game.
Graphics
The obvious change is improved graphics. There are new character models, new animations, and new beautiful cities. Explosions, in particular, are quite stunning.
Differences in missions
There are no differences between the missions. The humor, the dialogues, and the objectives all remain the same.
There is, however, an entirely new mission, called Lost Mission of Area 42.
Voice-over differences
Instead of re-recording the lines, the creators used sounds and chatter from the original game and simply polished the quality. That way, we can still enjoy the undoubted charm of the original.
