The numbers in the table represent modifiers, not actual values. Thus, when the Knight Survival modifier is 0 on Normal, this doesn't mean all your knights are doomed to die in combat - it means there's no influence on probability at this difficulty level. When a value is listed as 0 it means there's no modifier active.
