Off to a Good Start

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You must win your first race.

Crazier than the Ripper

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You must win a race against the boss - Ripper Roo. He will be available upon completion of four routes on 1st position in N. Sanity Beach Area. Crash Cove, Roo's Tubes, Mystery Caves and Sewer Speedway will unlock the race.

During the race Ripper Roo will throw TNT behind him, and he is slightly faster than you. The key to victory is to attack him with weapons and use Powerslide wisely. After winning with him you will get the key to a new area.

Me Fast, You Slow

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You must win the race against the boss - Papu Papu. It will be available after completing four tracks on 1st place in The Lost Ruins: Coco Park, Tiger Temple, Papu Pyramid and Dingo Canyon will unlock the race.

During the race Papu Papu will throw green and red bottles behind him. He doesn't throw them only in two places - he throws them at the beginning before the pyramid and at the last sharp corner. After you win with him, you will get a second key to the new area.

Komodone

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You must win a race against the boss - Komodo Joe. It will be available after completing four tracks on the 1st position in Glacier Park: Blizzard Bluff, Dragon Mines, Tiny Arena and Polar Pass will unlock the race.

During the race, Komodo Joe will throw TNTs behind him that explode on contact with the ground and occasionally he may throw a Nitro. He doesn't just throw them away on a wooden bridge. When you win with him, you will get the third key to the new area.

Why don't you get a job?

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You must win a race against the boss - Pinstripe Potoroo. It will be available after completing four tracks in 1st place in Citadel City: N.Gin Labs, Cortex Castle, Hot Air Skyway and Oxide Station will unlock the race.

During the race, Pinstripe Potoroo fires cannonballs behind him. When you win with him, you will get the last key and the opportunity to duel with Oxid.

Interstellar Challenge

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: When you win the race with Pinstripe Potoroo, you will immediately get access to the race with the main antagonist of the game - Oxide. This smart guy starts from the start line a bit earlier, uses TNT, Nitro, throws two green and red bottles at once, and fires cannonballs behind him. Of course, you have to win a race against him in order to receive a trophy.

Galaxy's Fastest

Trophy type: gold

How to unlock: You must defeat Oxide in the end. To do this, you must finish the game in 100%.

Requirements of 100% game progress are as follows:

• collect 16 Race Cups
• collect 20 CTR Tokens
• collect 4 Keys
• collect 18 Relics (they can be sapphire)
• collect 5 Gems

Once you've done all this, Oxide will give you the final challenge. But now it's much faster than usual and you need to use drifting, powerslide and driving into the afterburn fields. Aku Aku / Uka Uka powerups, tracking rackets, red bottles and Nitro are very helpful here. After winning with him you will receive a trophy and a 101% Adventure Mode completion.

Arena Explorer

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Once the boss has been defeated, you will have access to one arena per zone. In the arena you have to collect 20 crystals in a limited time trial.

Spare Change

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: The trophy will be unlocked upon completion of the first CTR Challenge. In this mode it's all about finding three letters C, T and R hidden somewhere on the track and winning this race on the 1st position. Most of them are easy to find, but there are also some exceptions that need some patience and skill to get through.

Sprinter

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: The trophy will be unlocked when the first Relic is captured. In order to get it you have to finish any track on time. This is helped by yellow boxes scattered along the way, which stop time for a second, two or three. There are three types of relics: blue, gold and platinum.

Booyah, Grandma!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You have to get your first gem. They are available in Gem Stone Valley after you have collected 4 CTR Tokens in one color and this is a collection of four tracks. You will receive points for completing each race:

• 1st place - 9 points
• 2nd place - 6 points
• 3rd place - 3 points
• 4th place - 1 point

For places 5, 6, 7 and 8 you don't get any points. After finishing 4 tracks in one such tournament you must have the highest amount of points among your opponents (the highest possible amount is 36 points).

Purple Gem is a collection of four maps and a ride with 4 bosses. However, they do not attack the same way as in boss instances - they attack the same way as their standard opponents. For obtaining a purple gem you will unlock the Fake Crash character.

Relic Collector

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: The trophy will be unlocked when you collect 18 Relics. They may be sapphire.

Gem Collector

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: The trophy will be unlocked once all five gems have been collected. For more information, please refer to the Booyah, Grandma! trophy.

Token Collector

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: You will get this trophy after you unlock 20 CTR Tokens.

Photo Finish

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: This trophy is a bit of luck. During the final lap you must finish in the first position and the opponent behind you in the second position and there must be a time difference of 0.3 seconds between the two of you. The trophy should come up rather by itself, but if there is a problem with it, you can make an appointment with a friend in an online game and synchronize yourself properly on the last stage of the track.

BOOM!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: Using a cannonball you have to hurt two opponents with one bullet. It will be much easier for you to use a cannonball after taking 10 wumpa fruits, because it will increase its area of impact.

Super Boost!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You need to perform a drift during Powerslide. When drifting you will see black smoke from the exhaust pipes, press L1/R1 three times in a short time interval. This way you will get the acceleration and trophy.

Expert Dodger

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You must win the race against the boss without driving into a single weapon that he will throw at the track. The easiest way to do it is with Ripper Roo, because the route is short and wide so you can easily avoid obstacles.

Drifter

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: On the Crash Cove route there is a lot of space to do this trophy. You have to do 15 drifts in a row, so jump over and over again and drift continuously until the reward appears.

Master Drifter

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: The recommended route for this trophy is Hot Air Skyway because it is very winding and you can easily do 5 turbo boosts in a row at the very beginning of the route.

Burning Rubber!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: This trophy you may obtain during your progress for Platinum trophy. It requires you to perform 500 drifts during races.

Yeee HAW!

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Complete the Adventure mode on Hard.

It's definitely best to try take the trophy after completing the Gasmoxian Slug, or at least master the Powersliding technique, because you'll be able to master the mechanics of the game and the tracks you'll be racing on.

Training alone won't really help. CTR Nitro Fuel requires mastering the mechanics of the game. So, first complete Oxide's time trials to learn how to drive Powerslide. Don't look at the power ups, as they're just a distraction and give you nothing. Play as if you tried to beat Oxide's time. This is the key to getting this cup.

ATTENTION! You don't have to complete the game 100%! You just need 16 cups, 4 keys and to beat Oxide once. In the picture below you can see what is required for the trophy.

Hyper Speed

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: The easiest way to get this trophy is to select one of the longer routes. A very good choice will be Hot Air Skyway and setting the difficulty of AI on Easy. At the end of the second lap go to the eighth position (which you'll have to do your best, though, because the opponents on Easy are weak), after crossing the starting line and starting the last lap squeeze all the juices out of your go-kart and finish the race on the 1st place.

Rear-viewed

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: In order to unlock this cup you must block the tracking missile flying at you with three weapons:

1. cannonball (to shoot it backwards, simply tilt your left analog knob).
2. TNT/Nitro.
3. Bottle.

The New Time-Master

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: the full list of times to beat is included in the description of the Gasmoxian Slug trophy.

Gasmoxian Slug

The most difficult trophy/achievement in the game. You need to beat Nitros Oxide's time on 31 tracks in Time Trial mode. The trophy/achievement is challenging, but it can be unlocked. We recommend checking out our Guides Gamepressure YouTube channel where you can find the strategies for beating Oxide's times.

How to unlock: You must finish the race without using any weapons. The easiest routes for this trophy are Crash Cove or Tiger Temple. Remember to use powerslide.

Nitrostalgia

How to unlock: You have to finish all the tracks of Crash Team Racing and Crash Nitro Cart on the 1st position. If you have finished the maps from Adventure Mode, you don't have to finish them in Local Arcade Mode. You can finish them on easy difficulty level. Below is a list of the routes you need to unlock the cup:

Can't Hide From Me

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You'll have to draw three tracking missiles from the gun box. Each of them must hit one of the opponents. You can even fire three missiles at the same enemy, and you'll get the trophy.

Weapon Technician

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You have to use every weapon in the game. There are 11 of them and two of them are only available in battle mode. To make your task easier you can choose from a list which weapons can appear in the boxes.

Dungeon Vaulter

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: On the Cortex Castle route, you have to take the shortcut. It is located almost at the end of the route. It's recommended to have a turbo or Aku Aku/Uka Uka to jump into it.

Arctic Hurdler

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: On the Polar Pass route, you must drive through the shortcut. Passing through the cave you have to jump over the wall (over which a box with guns and a box with fruit is hanging). Watch out for the seals and bounce back from the end of the hill.

Winter Time Off-Roading

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: On the Blizzard Bluff route you have to pass through four shortcuts. The first one is literally to the left of the starting line. Second one is located left of the ice, you must jump over a large hole, so it is recommended to use an afterburner or Aku Aku/Uka Uka. The third and fourth are just after the wooden bridge, on a sharp corner you have to use a booster or a mask to jump over two wooden fences.

Pyramid Parkour

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: On the Papu Pyramid route you have to pass through two shortcuts in one race. The first one is just behind the area with the first carnivore plants. Powerups like afterburner or Aku Aku/Uka Uka will help a lot, because behind these plants on the right turn you should see a passage between the walls - jump to the top of the pyramid and quickly jump back on the track. The second shortcut is practically at the end of the first one. Before going downhill in front of the plants on the left, you should notice the apples on the wall. You can easily jump in there and after that the trophy will be unlocked.

Puddle Hooper

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: On the Crash Cove route, you have to take the shortcut. It is located at the beginning of the route just after the jumping ramp. After entering the water, you must jump with L1/R1 at the right time and jump on a hill with a box.

Half-Pipe Karting

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You need to use a shortcut on a Sewer Speedway track. It is located approximately 1/3 of the route in the "gutter". In order to get to the secret you will need an afterburner or a mask of Aku-Aku/Uka-Uka, it will be easier to collect 10 wumpa of fruit that will strengthen the effect of the afterburner.

Let Me In!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: On the Tiger Temple you have to use a shortcut. It is located after leaving the second narrow passage (where the statues breathe fire). Behind this passage you should see the door in the open air, but in order to open it you will need a weapon. A bullet, a rocket or even a bottle thrown in front of that door will open it. Driving through that shortcut will unlock the trophy.

Minecarting

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: On the Dragon Mines route you have to use a shortcut, additionally you will have to watch out for the train. The best way is to enter the secret area just behind the train.

I know the way!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: This trophy will be unlocked once all other trophies related to shortcuts have been completed.

Juiced Up!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You have to use all your weapons with 10 wumpa fruits. The are 11 weapons of which 2 are only available in battle mode.

Unstoppable

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Ride a full lap with boost engaged the entire time.

This is easiest on the Coco Park with Advanced character (such as Papu Papu, Tiny Tiger etc.). Powerslide on the entire track, ideally 3 times until reaching the Perfect meter. This tracki s very wide, which makes it easy to maneuver. A few attempts should be enough.

The Dominator!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: You have to win every type of Battle Mode. If you set AI to Easy, you'll get a trophy without any problems. The types are as follows:

1. Limit Battle - this mode is about earning points for hitting an opponent, one hit is one point and the player or team with the most points wins.
2. Capture The Flag - a classic mode where you must take the flag of the opposing team and deliver it to your base. If you have an enemy flag and he hits you, you drop the flag. If you hit an enemy who carries your flag, he drops it.
3. Crystal Grab - a mode similar to the Crystal Challenge, it consists in collecting more crystals than your opponents.
4. Last Kart Driving - Players have lives and lose them with each damage they receive. The winner is the player who saves at least one life and eliminates other players/bots.
5. Steal The Bacon - a mode similar to CTF, you must pick up the flag from the center of the map and deliver it to your base.

Get off me!

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: A very easy trophy. To get it you have to move on TNT and spam the L1/R1 button to jump and throw TNT off the head before it explodes.

Alchemist

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: This trophy is a little trick. You have to throw the bottle forward in such a way that it directly hits the opponent. To throw the bottle forward you have to tilt the left analog forward before the throw.

Trophy type: brown

How to unlock: When you turn on the game, select a new game, then choose the character you want to play and personalize your go-karts to your liking.

How to unlock: Unlocking all characters from Crash Team Racing.
