Bears Repeating is the seventeenth map featured in Crash Bandicoot 4. On this page, you will find information about all gems, chests, secret levels. It also contains a detailed walkthrough.
Secret tape
The adventure on this map must begin with an important information. Here you will find a secret tape that will unlock access to a retro level.
Remember, the only way to get the tape is if you haven't died even once. Additionally, you have to complete the map in order for the tape to be added to your inventory.
You'll grab the tape while riding the bear. All you have to do is get past the skiers and jump while heading right. That's where the secret is waiting.
Gems
You can get 6 gems on Bears Repeating.
You can get gems for:
- Getting 40% of all Wumpa fruits available on the map;
- Getting 60% of all Wumpa fruits available on the map;
- Getting 80% of all Wumpa fruits available on the map;
- Getting all 137 boxes;
- Completing the entire map while dying less than 3 times;
- Finding the hidden gem.

Level description
At the beginning of the level, you have to kill several opponents. Remember, you can't hit robots, you have to kill their owners.
You have to get to the other side of the map on unstable platforms. If you stand on them for too long, you'll fall right into the abyss.
The next part consists of several sequences with falling platforms. Jump across before they fall.
To get across the last platforms you'll have to be smart. Jump on one of them, then make a slide and double jump to proceed.
After getting a mask, you'll face several time-stopping sequences. You have to climb on chunks of glacier to get to the top. Be sure to use the slide, which will make it easier for you to get to the right fragments.
The sequence of riding the bear is not as difficult as you might think. All you have to do is avoid trees, rocks, and chunks of the glacier. You have a checkpoint on the way that will make it easier for you to complete the whole task. As soon as you finish this sequence, you'll finish the entire level.
Hidden gem
Before the last section with the dropping platforms, you will find a small shelf that will not be visible at first glance. You have to slide to your left to jump onto a small piece of terrain.
Secret level
You can enter the bonus level right before jumping on the bear.
