General information:
Completion requirements and rewards system is similar to one from sequence five. A duel with Qui Ji at the beginning is an addition. After that you must quickly complete the level. It is one of shortest parts of the game. To obtain reward you must finish the sequence in less than 6:30. To get gold, it must be not more than 4:15. Bronze is given at 9:00 minutes. There are five Animus shards to collect. They all are on your path, you won't have to search for them. Some of them are mandatory to obtain.
Duel with Qui Ji
Sequence start with a battle with "boss", Qui Ji. The duel lacks time limit, it makes it easy if you follow some rules. First, block all enemy attacks - weak hit takes 1,5 synchronization bar, strong 2,5 and counters 0,5. Enemy is blocking all your hits and is performing counterattacks which you can block as well. Remember that during the duel your health doesn't regenerate.
You must hit your opponent five times with a strong attack. Each lamp hanging from the ceiling deals as much damage as a strong hit. You can throw it down with a throwing knife. If you lack them, you can find them in the right corner of the arena. Be careful as fire from lamps deals damage to you as well. Lamp doesn't need to hit the target, it only must fall close enough. If you throw down them all and each of them will hit the target, all that will be left for you is to deal a finishing blow. Lamps can't be used as finisher.
You can hit enemy only after performing a counterattack and throwing him away from you. Immediately walk towards him and perform a strong hit. Don't run to him, in that case the hit will be done from above - it takes more time and enemy will be able to block it. Your gadgets aren't useful in this battle. Throwing knifes deal some damage to your enemy, but it is better to use them on lamps or save them for later. After the battle game will save.
Escape from palace
Once again you must escape from a territory on fire. After leaving the building escape from the fire by jumping between posts. On fourth one you will find Animus shard. After jumping to the ground, climb on the wall. Walk through the ceiling to other boards on the wall. Use jumping to move on them faster.
After jumping to the lower floor you must keep running. Eliminate enemies with a slide or jump kill. Climb on the wall at the end, defeat enemy on the floor (he will come out of smoke). Behind him you will find second Animus shard. Climb up and jump on the lamps to the window on the left side. Climb to the floor above, eliminate crossbowman and jump to the haystack.
If you hurry you can kill three successive enemies in a perfect combination. Kill two of them in a slide and jump on the third one (even if he manages to turn towards you, he won't be fast enough to guard himself). Climb higher and use the reel. Jump outside the room. Near the collapsed floor you can take third Animus shard.
Run to next window. After getting through the room, walk outside through the window and jump on the enemy. Climb on the post and jump further to the right. The ground will collapse when you get behind prison bars. You must quickly perform a slide under the collapsed floor on the lower floor. Keep running forward. After jumping down from the horizontal posts and getting through the collapsed floor you will see fourth Animus shard below.
Enter the tower and jump between walls until you reach the top. Jump to the post from the roof. In the lower part of the post you will find last Animus shard. To reach it you must perform a long jump. Climb up, get through last collapsed floors, jump out from the end of the building to complete the sequence.
