Each team has a leader tasked with giving orders to other units – the latter are controlled by other players. The Special Stages are located in such locations as Finland, Italy or Kenya.

As in the original, players have the opportunity to test their skateboarding skills by playing as skateboard masters. Developers from Neversoft Entertainment studio have prepared several hundred spectacular tricks that can be performed while playing. The soundtrack of the game included songs by bands such as Rage Against the Machine, Papa Roach and Naughty by Nature.
