20 Bethesda Games on Xbox Game Pass From Tomorrow
Starting tomorrow, a total of 20 Bethesda games will be available on Xbox Game Pass. We're talking about franchises such as Doom, Wolfenstein and The Elder Scrolls.
In September 2020, the world was surprised by the news that Microsoft had bought ZeniMax Media Inc, a company that owns Bethesda Softworks among others. In connection with this information, we expected that some of the biggest hits of the acquired brands will go to the Xbox Game Pass service. Tomorrow, on March 12, another handful of Bethesda's titles will hit the platform, which will make a total of 20 Bethesda games available for the subscription. The whole list can be found below (via Xbox News).
From March 12 the Xbox Game Pass will feature:
- Dishonored: Definitive Edition (PC, consoles, cloud)
- Dishonored 2 (PC, consoles, cloud)
- DOOM (1993) (PC, consoles, cloud)
- DOOM II (PC, consoles, cloud)
- DOOM 3 (PC, consoles, cloud)
- DOOM 64 (PC, consoles, cloud)
- DOOM Eternal (PC, consoles, cloud)
- The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (PC, consoles)
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PC, consoles)
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition (PC, consoles, cloud)
- The Elder Scrolls Online (consoles, cloud)
- The Evil Within (PC, consoles, cloud)
- Fallout 4 (PC, consoles, cloud)
- Fallout 76 (PC, consoles, cloud)
- Fallout: New Vegas (consoles)
- Prey (PC, consoles, cloud)
- RAGE 2 (PC, consoles, cloud)
- Wolfenstein: The New Order (PC, consoles, cloud)
- Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (PC, consoles, cloud)
- Wolfenstein: Youngblood (PC, consoles, cloud)
Most titles are playable regardless of whether we own a PC, Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S, although, as we can see from the list above, there are some exceptions. Fans are unhappy that the PC version of XGP will not include Fallout: New Vegas, at least for now. Internet users also noted that The Evil Within 2, DOOM (2016) or Dishonored: Death of the Outsider were omitted, but it is possible that Microsoft will add these titles at another time.
For information on new projects created through cooperation of the aforementioned corporations, we must wait until the summer - at least that's what was said during a special broadcast organized on Xbox's YouTube channel.
