WoW: Classic - Blizzard Enables Free Character Transfers
Blizzard tries different ways to deal with the queues for the most popular World of Warcraft: Classic servers. Another idea is to provide free character transfers.
More than a week has passed since the launch of World of Warcraft: Classic, and the situation on the most popular servers is still not very good. Although it looks slightly better on the European realms than on the American ones, the problem is still present. Blizzard came up with a new idea to solve the problem by providing a free option to transfer player characters.
At this point it is worth noting that the offer will concern only the most popular servers, whose list will be available soon. It is safe to assume that these are realms where there are still long queues. In the case of European servers it will probably be Shazzrah, Golemagg and perhaps Firemaw, but my data from 3 days ago may be old at this point.
In the case of American servers, the situation is much worse. On the most besieged of the worlds - Faerlina - you still have to spend an average of about 5 hours in a queue. Here, the pool of servers that Blizzard will take into account will certainly be much larger. It is not known when the new function will become available. From the information released by the creators of WoW, it is only known that it will happen: "in the days to come."
The reaction of the community is quite clear. Most users have been waiting for Blizzard to make this move and are satisfied with the new solution. It should help to deal with the queue problem once and for all.
