WoW 9.2 Eternity's End Release Date
After many months without new content, World of Warcraft can expect some changes. The developers have revealed the release date of the next major patch.
The current state of World of Warcraft receives a lot of criticism. Players complain about the lack of content and monotony. The last major patch, 9.1, was released in late June last year. Since then, no significant update has been released. Finally, after eight months, it will get something new - a big patch 9.2 called Eternity's End.
Eternity's End update
According to Blizzard, the next patch for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be released on February 22. Patch 9.2 will be the last major update for this expansion. The developers want to focus on the new expansion and close the adventure in the Shadowlands. However, to make sure fans aren't disappointed with such a short expansion, Blizzard also plans to introduce joint Horde and Alliance raids - it will do so in patch 9.2.5.
What's New
Update 9.2 will bring several new features to the game - ranging from changes in professions to a new raid. The new update will include:
- Shadowlands campaign expansion in a new land - Zereth Morris;
- Sepulcher of the First Ones raid, which will enable players to defeat the main enemy in Shadowlands - Jailer;
- Return of class tier sets;
- Updated professions, soulbinds, and changes to the covenant system.
Patch 9.2 will also kick off the next PvP and Mythic seasons. PvP Season 3 will begin on February 22, while Mythic players will have to wait a week more - until March 1 - for the start of the new season.
