WoW 9.1 Chains of Domination Patch Goes Live; New Simple Feature Becomes a Hit
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands received the Chains of Domination update today. Patch 9.1 introduced, among other things, a new realm, a raid, and the ability to fly. However, players are particularly excited about the Reconnect button.
After 217 days of waiting, patch 9.1 for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has finally debuted. Chains of Domination introduces many changes and new features - the full list can be found here - but players are especially delighted with a small feature that will make their lives much easier. We're talking about the "Reconnect" button that enables you to return to the game after disconnecting from the server without re-entering your password. The Reddit community seems to be extatic about it, with comments like: "F***ING FINALLY" (via PotatoesForPutin), "17 years for someone in the office to go "you know what we should do?"" (via Starslip) or "I've always just esc esc and restart WoW. This is a nice change. (…)” (via MRosvall). But let's get down to the "meat" of patch 9.1. First - a new trailer.
In addition to its own story campaign Chains of Domination introduces a brand new area - Korthia, dragged by the Jailer to the Void. There are many quests and secrets waiting for us in this one, but most of all the Sanctum of Domination raid, where we'll face 10 bosses, including the Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner waiting at the very end of the challenge.
Of course, that's not all. Tazavesh the Veiled Market megadungeon, was also added to the game. Inhabiting it is a race of Brokers, who will sell us exotic goods and unusual creatures, but it's worth going there mainly because of the raid, whose stake will be powerful artifacts from Azeroth.
Chains of Domination also brought changes to some systems already existing in Shadowlands: 40 more levels of Renown have been introduced, the death limit in Torghast, Tower of the Damned has been lifted, and the "Anguish" modifier has been added to the second season of Mythic+ games. In addition, the patch brought new legendary powers, revised PvP talents, as well as improvements to the Empowered Conduits mechanic and a new Shards of Domination system that will enable you to upgrade your equipment with powerful bonuses.
On the occasion of the 9.1 update, many items, transmog kits, pets, mounts - including the previously announced flying mounts - and achievements were also added to the game. There will be no time to complain about boredom.
