Windows 7 Will Retain Support From Antivirus Software
AV-Test experts have prepared a report on antivirus programs that will continue to work with Windows 7 - despite the end of Microsoft's support for W7, which happened just over two weeks ago.
In mid-January, Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 7. This means that after more than 10 years on the market, the system has been retired and users are encouraged to switch to a newer version. However, it seems that the program will be supported by the creators of many antivirus applications for some time. AV-Test experts have prepared an extensive report devoted to this issue.
The group of programs that will continue to work with Windows 7 includes more than twenty antiviruses. For most of them, developers do not give a date for the end of support - experts suggest that updates will be released for about two years. In some cases, however, we know a specific date.

If you intend to continue using Windows 7, we recommend installing one of the above programs to provide your computer with the basic protection it may need it now more than ever before (it is worth remembering the recent controversies surrounding Avast and AVG, though). However, the best option is to switch to a newer operating system - especially since there are ways to do this without depleting your wallet.
